The Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze

This past weekend we went upstate to Croton-on-Hudson for the annual Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze, a Hudson Valley tradition. It was AWESOME - jack-o-lanterns as far as the eye could see, painstakingly carved and arranged to conjure everything from pirates and snakes to sunflowers and, yes, a bee hive. Learn more about The Blaze, as the locals call it, and consider heading there this weekend if you're in the NY area - it's less than an hour from Manhattan on Metro North.
